Peugeot Pick Up

Peugeot Pick Up

In 2017, Peugeot reintroduced a one-tonne payload pickup model for select international markets, specifically naming it the Peugeot Pick Up. This model was based on the third-generation Nissan Navara/Dongfeng Rich platform and was intended for the African market, particularly North Africa and neighboring countries.

Specifications of the 2017 Peugeot Pick Up

The Peugeot Pick Up was a straightforward, functional vehicle designed for utility and reliability, focusing on ease of repair and ruggedness.

Engine: It was powered by a 2.5-litre turbodiesel engine that produced 115 hp and 280 Nm of torque.

Drivetrain: Power was delivered via a 5-speed manual gearbox, the only transmission option at the time. Buyers could choose between a 4x2 rear-wheel drive or a 4x4 all-wheel drive system. The 4x4 version included a transfer case with 4H (high range) and 4L (low range) modes.

Capacity: It had a payload capacity of up to 815 kg (around 1 tonne in some configurations) and featured a cargo bed that was 1.4 meters long and 1.39 meters wide.

Dimensions and Off-Road: The truck had a length of 5080 mm and a wheelbase of 3050 mm. Ground clearance varied from 210 mm to 215 mm depending on the model.

Features: Standard features included manual air conditioning, electric windows, a radio with a CD player and USB port, ABS with brakeforce distribution, rear parking aids, and driver and passenger airbags.

The 2017 Peugeot Pick Up was the predecessor to the more modern and globally engineered Peugeot Landtrek, which was launched later in 2020.
